BOOK
AND DVD:
In 2004 to celebrate the 100 year
anniversary of the Edmonds Fire Department the EFSF published a book
titled “Edmonds Fire Department – Celebrating 100 Years”. The
foundation also produced a DVD pictorial history of the Edmonds Fire
Department.
Contact the Edmonds Fire Safety
Foundation to purchase a book and/or DVD. They can also be purchased
most Saturday’s from June through September at our table at the Garden
and Summer Market in downtown Edmonds.

POP IN THE PARK:
The annual Pop in the Park booth
started July 4, 1997. During the Fire Department water-ball fight competition,
the foundation has a booth to offer pop, chips, cookies, caramel corn, T-Shirts
with the foundation logo, etc. for sale. We will have our booth again this year
at City Park following the parade. Come by for some refreshments while you
watch the fun water-ball competition.

ANNUAL GARAGE SALE:
The initial sale was September 1999
at the Red Barn in downtown Edmonds. The start of the annual sale was July
2001. Items are donated from local citizens. The sale is a two-day affair and
has been very successful. |
|
The garage sale
will be held July 25 and 26 at 520 Forsyth Lane, Edmonds from 9:00 to
4:00 each day. Make the dates on your calendar to stop by a find
some great treasurers. We are accepting items for the sale.

Because of
limited storage space we can not accept clothes, shoes, large pieces of
furniture, computer equipment and exercise equipment. |

ANNUAL RAFFLE TICKET SALE:
In 1998 the foundation raffled an
American Girl Doll with an extensive wardrobe made by foundation members and
volunteers, a wooden wardrobe chest was made by Firefighter, Dennis Oftedahl ,
and a bed complete with bedding was made by Betty Mueller and her brother. That
was the start of our successful annual raffle ticket sales. |

For the past several years the grand
prize has been a pedal car fire engine. Tickets are sold Saturday’s at the
Garden Market and the Summer Market in downtown Edmonds. |
|
This
year’s tickets will be available starting in May at the Coldwell Banker Bain
office in downtown Edmonds. We will be at the Garden Market starting in
June. |

The winning tickets
will be drawn the last Saturday in September at the foundation’s Summer Market
location.
