POP IN THE PARK:

The annual Pop in the Park booth started July 4, 1997.  During the Fire Department water-ball fight competition, the foundation has a booth to offer pop, chips, cookies, caramel corn, T-Shirts with the foundation logo, etc. for sale.  We will have our booth again this year at City Park following the parade.  Come by for some refreshments while you watch the fun water-ball competition.

ANNUAL GARAGE SALE:

The initial sale was September 1999 at the Red Barn in downtown Edmonds.  The start of the annual sale was July 2001.  Items are donated from local citizens.  The sale is a two-day affair and has been very successful.

The garage sale will be held July 25 and 26 at 520 Forsyth Lane, Edmonds from 9:00 to 4:00 each day.  Make the dates on your calendar to stop by a find some great treasurers.  We are accepting items for the sale.

If you have used items in good condition you would like to contribute please contact Greg Jorgenson at (425) 772-8115 or email Mark Foote at jefe12@comcast.net to arrange collection of your items.

Because of limited storage space we can not accept clothes, shoes, large pieces of furniture, computer equipment and exercise equipment.

ANNUAL RAFFLE TICKET SALE:

In 1998 the foundation raffled an American Girl Doll with an extensive wardrobe made by foundation members and volunteers, a wooden wardrobe chest was made by Firefighter, Dennis Oftedahl , and a bed complete with bedding was made by Betty Mueller and her brother.  That was the start of our successful annual raffle ticket sales.

For the past several years the grand prize has been a pedal car fire engine.  Tickets are sold Saturday’s at the Garden Market and the Summer Market in downtown Edmonds.

This year’s tickets will be available starting in May at the Coldwell Banker Bain office in downtown Edmonds.  We will be at the Garden Market starting in June.

The winning tickets will be drawn the last Saturday in September at the foundation’s Summer Market location.
