Engine #1, Marine 16 & Reserve Aid Unit

 

Edmonds Fire Department 1938 Ford Fire Engine No. 1

Raised over $10,000.00 to purchase original Edmonds’ 1938 Ford Fire Engine No. 1 lovingly restored by retired Edmonds Firefighter, Ron Barton. The engine is used in fundraising, most prominently during the Summer and Garden Market season and at the annual Waterball Competition on July 4th at City Park on 3rd Avenue.

 

Vintage Fire Helmets for 1938 Ford Fire Engine No. 1

Six replicas of fire helmets worn in the 1930s and 1940s when Edmonds’ Engine No. 1 was the “first-out” fire engine.

 

Support Items for 1938 Ford Fire Engine No. 1

Plaque recognizing major contributors to purchase the engine, brackets, canopy, umbrella stand, replacement truck tires, and muffler.

 

New Tire for 1938 Ford Fire Engine No. 1

Provided the funds to purchase new tires for Fire Engine No.1

 

Public Safety Boat (Marine 16)

Provide $12,741.00 in upgrades, tools and equipment for the Fire-Police Public Safety Boat not covered by the Department of Homeland Security grant.

 

Surface Water Rescue Suits

A surface water rescue suit donned by the rescue Firefighter en route to a water rescue emergency and worn when the victim is reachable while on the water’s surface.

 

Aid Unit

Refurbish and repaint reserve Aid Unit.
